about
Welcome to the website dedicated to my life, both music and otherworldly. This is a place where I'd like to speak directly to you about who I am and why you should follow me. I'm a Southern California native with a bachelor's degree in music from Cal State University, Long Beach. I also lived in the Bay Area for a minute. Music is my life, but it doesn't completely define me. I'm a saxophonist, composer, educator, amateur chef, runner, baseball fanatic, movie buff, activist, and general Renaissance man, but not yet to the level of Shaq. I am dedicated to educating people of all ages and engaging with my local community. I probably have more hobbies and projects than are healthy to juggle, and have lobbied heavily to extend the day past twenty-four hours, but I feel that the interconnectedness of everything I do and the people I meet help enrich life.
This website has been created to:
- Let people know what I am up to and where they can hear me live
- Give me a forum to share my thoughts on a multitude of topics
- Share audio and video of performances and projects
- Facilitate an online community with a foot in the ?real? world
Please explore every facet of this website and leave me any comments about the content or what you'd like to see in the future.Special thanks to Andy Perlitch for designing this website, Teri Friend for the publicity photos, Daniel Sadnik for editing my blog, and to all the teachers and musicians who continually help enrich my musical life.
